Returns and Cancellations Policy

a) Receipt of Goods and Returns

i) For mainstream products: You should check all products you receive against your order. If the products you receive are damaged or incorrectly supplied on delivery, you should let us know as soon as you can. You can e-mail us at info@danishfooddirect.co.uk or phone us on +44 (0)20 3884 2284, quoting the order number specified in our order acknowledgement. You may also send a letter by post to Danish Food Direct Limited, Unit 19, New Forest Enterprise Centre, Rushington Business Park, Chapel Lane, Totton, SO40 9LA, United Kingdom. Ideally we ask you to inform us within 7 days so that we can resolve the issues as soon as we can for you.

ii) The return address is: Danish Food Direct Limited, Unit 19, New Forest Enterprise Centre, Rushington Business Park, Chapel Lane, Totton, SO40 9LA, United Kingdom. We will replace or refund you for the incorrect / damaged item upon receiving the returned goods. We will also reimburse your postage costs.

iii) For short-life products: You should check all products you receive against your order. If the products you receive are damaged or incorrectly supplied on delivery, you should let us know as soon as you can. You may also send a letter by post to Danish Food Direct Limited, Unit 19, New Forest Enterprise Centre, Rushington Business Park, Chapel Lane, Totton, SO40 9LA, United Kingdom. Ideally we ask you to inform us within 24 hours given the short shelf-life of the product.

iv) The return address is: Danish Food Direct Limited, Unit 19, New Forest Enterprise Centre, Rushington Business Park, Chapel Lane, Totton, SO40 9LA, United Kingdom. We will replace or refund you for the incorrect / damaged item upon receiving the returned goods. We will also reimburse your postage costs

v) We recommend that you gain a Proof of Postage from your Post Office as proof that you have sent the item / s back to us. This is a free service

b) Cancellation By You

i) You have the right to cancel an order (a) before receiving any goods or (b) up to 14 days after the day on which the goods come into your physical possession (or the authorised recipient of the goods).

ii) To exercise your right to cancel, you should inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You can e-mail us at info@danishfooddirect.co.uk or phone us on +44 (0)20 3884 2284, quoting the order number specified in our order acknowledgement. You may also send a letter by post to Danish Food Direct Limited, Unit 19, New Forest Enterprise Centre, Rushington Business Park, Chapel Lane, Totton, SO40 9LA, United Kingdom.

iii) We will reimburse you no later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

iv) If you have received goods before notifying us of your wish to cancel, you must send the goods back to us at the above address without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us.

v) In the event that the goods were dispatched to you prior to receiving the cancellation, we will make the reimbursement to you without delay, and no later than: - 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or - (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods

vi) We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressively agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement

vii) The reimbursement does not cover your return cost of postage viii)We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. You are only liable for any diminished value of goods resulting in the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods

ix) Please note that the right to cancellation does not apply to: (a) perishable and chilled goods; and (b) for health protection and hygiene reasons, sealed items where the seal is broken.
